Sheridan Morais (Iron Brain Kawasaki SBK Team) and Fabien Foret (Kawasaki Mahi Racing Team India) were the other two Kawasaki Evo riders who qualified for Superpole 1, finishing up 19th and 20th respectively.
Jeremy Guarnoni (MRS Kawasaki) placed 22nd on the grid, leading up a four rider Kawasaki run, with Riccardo Russo (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) 23rd in his first Evo race for the team, Alessandro Andreozzi (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) one behind and Bryan Staring (Iron Brain Kawasaki SBK Team) went 25th.
Superstock 1000 FIM Cup - Qualifying
Lorenzo Savadori (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) headed up qualifying in the Misano Superstock 1000 FIM Cup division, by a slim margin of 0.042 seconds. This was enough to give him his second pole of the season on his Ninja ZX-10R.
David McFadden (MRS Kawasaki) placed seventh, Matthieu Lussiana (Kawasaki Team Garnier by Aspi) eighth, and Romain Lanusse (Team Pedercini Kawasaki) ninth.
Balazs Nemeth (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) starts the race on Sunday from 12th place on the grid, while Kevin Valk (MTM Racing Kawasaki) starts the 15-lap race in 13th position. The race will take place at 14.15 local time in Misano, after both Superbike races have been completed.
Superstock 600 European Championship: Race: 13-laps
Marco Faccani (Kawasaki San Carlo Team Italia) carried on his great run in the FIM Superstock 600 European Championship by securing his third win in four races and taking the lead the championship with 81 points, 23 up on his closest rival Niki Tulli.
Wildcard rider Davide Stirpe (Scuderia Maran.ga Racing Kawasaki) was third at his home round and Luca Salvadori (Team 10 Lap Racing Kawasaki) placed ninth, one place up on Andrea Tucci (Kawasaki San Carlo Team Italia).
