Superstock 600 European Championship – Race
Marco Faccani (Kawasaki San Carlo Team Italia) took the race win and with it the Superstock 600 FIM European Championship title on his Ninja ZX-6R, with one round to spare.
His margin of race victory was 2.562 seconds at Jerez and means he has now won five of the six races completed so far. Kawasaki riders have won the last two titles in this category on the Ninja ZX-6R.
Andrea Tucci, Faccani’s team-mate, was fourth in the race at Jerez and is in third place overall, still with some hopes of taking second at the final round. In the points Faccani has an unassailable 131, with his next best challenger 48 points behind.

SBK Evo – Qualifying
In the Evo class David Salom (KRT SBK Evo) worked hard to secure his 13th spot on the grid, while Alessandro Andreozzi (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) was 15th and Sheridan Morais only one place behind on his Iron Brain Grillini Kawasaki.
Jeremy Guarnoni (MRS Kawasaki) and Bryan Staring (Iron Brain Kawasaki SBK Team) placed 17th and 18th respectively. Luca Scassa (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) decided not to ride oon day two as he is still suffering pain and lack of strength due to a leg injury and he will not ride again at this round.
Superstock 1000 FIM Cup - Qualifying
Lorenzo Savadori (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) qualified second on the grid in the 1000 Superstock FIM Cup class, which will race on Sunday afternoon at Jerez.
Matthieu Lussiana (Kawasaki Team Garnier by Aspi) went fourth on the grid and will now start from the second row, as sixth placed David McFadden (MRS Kawasaki) joins him one row behind the top three.
A good qualifying session for Balazs Nemeth put him into seventh place, with his team-mate Romain Lanusse (Team Pedercini Kawasaki) ninth.
