Round 4 Imola: EVO and Superstock News Saturday

David Salom (KRT SBK Evo) qualified the top Evo Kawasaki rider in 14th place at Imola after Superpole 1 with the next best Ninja ZX-10R Evo rider being Luca Scassa (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) 17th, from Sheridan Morais (Iron Brain Kawasaki SBK Team) in 18th place. 

Sheridan’s team-mate Michel Fabrizio (Iron Brain Kawasaki SBK Team) was 20th in qualifying his home round. Fabien Foret (Kawasaki Mahi Racing Team India) went 22nd in the pre-race order just ahead of Alessandro Andreozzi (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) and Jeremy Guarnoni (MRS Kawasaki).
Superstock 1000 FIM Cup - Qualifying
After qualifying Lorenzo Savadori (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) approaches his home race at Imola second on the grid in the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup category with the next closest Kawasaki rider to him being Frenchman Romain Lanusse (Team Pedercini Kawasaki) in sixth place.
 
Balazs Nemeth (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) held off his team-mate Simone Grotzkyj (Kawasaki Team Pedercini) for ninth place. Matthieu Lussiana (Kawasaki Team Garnier by Aspi) was 12th and David McFadden (MRS Kawasaki) 16th. Assen race winner Kevin Valk (MTM Racing Kawasaki) was 17th today. The 14-lap race is scheduled to start at 14.15 (local time) on Sunday.
 
Superstock 600 European Championship: Race: 12-laps
Marco Faccani (Kawasaki San Carlo team Italia) took his second race win of the season at Imola today in the FIM Superstock 600 European Championship. His start-to-finish home victory puts him second in the championship, only two points behind the leader. Luca Salvadori (Team 10 lap Racing Kawasaki) was fourth in the race.
 
Andrea Tucci (Kawasaki San Carlo Team Italia) overcame his qualifying position of 13th to finish eighth at Imola and go third in the championship, after three of seven rounds. Ilya Mikhalchik (Team Go Eleven Kawasaki) placed seventh in the Imola race results.
